8 Natural Treasures
Ever notice how children are drawn to mother natures own treasures?
I never lost my childhood fondness for collecting small trinkets and it brings my inner child joy to now offer 8 minerals to others throughout New Zealand.
Delivered in our Signature organza bags, facilitating our love for re usable, sustainable packaging.
All minerals are in their raw form and are differing shapes and sizes aiming for 30mm per piece. Natural occurrences are part of raw minerals and some imperfections may occur. Brought together from all over our precious world, here are the 8 names and a small detailing for each:
Black obsidian is a beautiful natural stone formed by cooled volcanic lava. It's smooth and reflective and doesn't have a crystalline structure. It is connected to the root chakra and is often used to help with grounding, protection, healing.
The Sumerians believed that the spirit of their gods lived within the stone, while the ancient Egyptians saw it as a symbol of the night sky. Since the earliest of times, lapis lazuli has been associated with strength and courage, royalty and wisdom, intellect and truth.
It can help strengthen self-esteem and a positive, vibrant flow of energy in and around one's body. Citrine is also considered helpful in improving digestion and strengthening one's physical endurance. Throughout history and in many cultures citrine was known as the merchant's stone.
A stone of protection, Tiger's Eye may also bring good luck to the wearer. It has the power to focus the mind, promoting mental clarity, assisting us to resolve problems objectively and unclouded by emotions. Particularly useful for healing psychosomatic illnesses, dispelling fear and anxiety.
